Privacy notice

This notice explains how Arkbild Zrt. handles your personal data when you visit the arkbild.hu website. We process the data under the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the right of informational self-determination and on the freedom of information.

2. What data we process and why

Enquiries by e-mail and phone

• Data: whatever you include in your enquiry, for example your name, e-mail address or phone number and your message.
• Purpose: answering your enquiry, keeping in touch and preparing a quote.
• Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. If you write to us on behalf of a company, as its contact person, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in business communication with companies.
• Retention: until the enquiry is closed, for at most [TO FILL] months. If the enquiry leads to a contract, we keep the data as the rules on contracts and accounting require.

Serving the website

The website is hosted and served by GitHub Pages. On every visit GitHub may keep a technical log (IP address, time, the page requested, browser details) to run and secure the service. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably. GitHub keeps these logs under its own policy.

Map (Google Maps)

The map loads only if you click the "Load map" button. Your browser then connects to Google directly, and Google receives your IP address and the technical details of your browser, and may use its own cookies. Without the click Google receives no data from us. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by clicking the button; your browser remembers the choice (see section 4), and you can withdraw it by clearing the site's local storage.

Fonts (Google Fonts)

Your browser downloads the fonts of the site (Questrial, DM Sans) from the Google Fonts service (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Google then receives your IP address and the technical details of your browser. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a consistent, readable design.

We make no decisions based solely on automated processing, and we do no profiling.

3. Recipients and processors

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on to anyone for marketing. The website relies on the following providers:

• Mailbox: the info@arkbild.hu mailbox is operated by the webcorp.hu provider ([TO FILL: the provider's company name]); incoming messages are stored there.
• GitHub, Inc. (United States): hosting of the website (GitHub Pages). Its privacy statement: GitHub General Privacy Statement.
• Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): the map, only after you click the "Load map" button. Its privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): serving the fonts on every page load.

GitHub and Google belong to groups based in the United States, so your data may reach countries outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards: certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (SCC).

4. Cookies and local storage

The website uses no cookies. In your browser's local storage (localStorage) we keep two settings the site needs to work, only on your device, and we send them nowhere:

• arkbild-lang: the language you chose (Hungarian or English), so the site opens in it next time.
• arkbild-map: that you chose to load the map, so you do not have to click again.

You can delete both in your browser settings (clear the site's data). No cookie banner is needed because the site sets no cookies, does not track visitors, and the two local settings are only needed for features you asked for (language choice, map). Google's cookies can reach your browser only if you click to load the map.

5. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: you can ask for information about, and a copy of, the data we hold about you.
• Rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: you can ask us to delete your data, within the limits set by law.
• Restriction: you can ask us to restrict the processing.
• Objection: you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Data portability: you can ask to receive the data you provided in a machine-readable format.
• Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw your consent to loading the map at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Send your request to info@arkbild.hu. We answer without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.

6. Remedies

If you feel that the handling of your data breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, NAIH):

You can also go to court if your rights are infringed; at your choice, the case can be brought before the regional court of your place of residence or stay.

7. Data security

We protect the data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) transfer and restricted access to the mailbox.

8. Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the website changes; the version in force can always be read on this page. This version: 1.1 (draft), 2 November 2026.
